Abdul Gamiet has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Abdul began their career as a 3D Artist & Retoucher at Tapestry MM Ltd in 1997 and worked there until 2004. Abdul then joined INCA as a Lead 3D Artist from 2005 to 2007. Following this, Abdul worked as a Freelance 3D Artist at A H Gamiet from 2007 to 2009.

In 2009, Abdul joined Electronic Arts (EA) and held various roles. Abdul started as a UI Designer for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit from 2009 to 2010. Abdul then became a VFX Artist & Cinematic Artist from 2010 to 2012, contributing to Need For Speed: Rivals. Abdul later served as a Cinematic Artist, creating cinematic cutscenes and trailers for Need For Speed: Rivals from 2012 to 2014. Abdul was then promoted to Senior Artist from June to November 2014 before taking on the role of Cinematic Director from December 2014 to March 2020, working on multiple Need for Speed games including the latest installment, Need for Speed: Heat.

Since 2020, Abdul has been working at Criterion Games as a Character Art Director. Abdul initially held this role from March 2020 to February 2021 and then returned to the position in March 2021. Additionally, Abdul briefly served as the Art Director from March to November 2021.

Abdul Gamiet earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Systems For The Arts And Media (SSAM) from the University of Hertfordshire from 1994 to 1997.
