Jeff Hinz

Jeff Hinz has over 15 years of experience in the field of software testing and management. Jeff has worked in various roles and organizations, including Critical Logic where they served as a Test Lead & Consultant. Prior to that, they worked at Unison Systems as a Test and Release Manager, specializing in agile testing, test automation initiatives, performance testing, acceptance testing, and release management.

Before joining Unison Systems, Jeff worked at Wipro Limited as a Programme Test Manager, leading transformation initiatives in agile, agile testing, ALM, and DevOps. Jeff also spearheaded system design, efficiency improvement, and cost optimization projects. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Management Consultant at TESTars, where they directed requirements management and test strategy, automation, management, process improvement, and transformation.

Jeff also has experience at Logica as a Senior Test Advisor, where they performed as a solution architect of test automation solutions and achieved 100% customer retention. At CIBER, they worked as a Senior Test Consultant, managing an internal data warehouse and responsible for requirements management, testing, and test management.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked at First Data Corporation as a Senior Test Consultant for their Open Payment Systems, and at Tq3 Navigant Intl Travel as a Test Consultant for their online business travel application. Jeff also worked at Qwest Communications as an ERP Test Lead and at AT&T Broadband as a Test Automation Specialist.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in agile testing, test automation, performance testing, test strategy, requirements management, and process improvement. Jeff is skilled in various technologies and tools, including AngularJS, JAVA, PostgreSQL, Pentaho, and Salesforce.

Jeff Hinz completed a Bachelor of Information Technology degree at American InterContinental University from 2003 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications including Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing from Brainbench in 2004. Jeff also earned a certification in Test Automation from Qwest in the same year. Prior to these certifications, they obtained a CMM certification from CPSI in 1998. Jeff also holds a Quality Certification from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, which they obtained in 1991. Their earliest certification is in TQM from Harvard Business School in 1987.
