Weng Keong Lan

Weng Keong Lan is an experienced professional in the engineering and operations management field. Currently serving as Managing Director at Critical Manufacturing since February 2023, Weng has previously held significant roles at Soft Rock Technologies Sdn Bhd from February 2012 to June 2023, including Director of Operations, Project Lead Engineer, and Application Engineer, where involvement in the B. Braun Penang tagging project utilizing COMOS Siemens software was noted. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Engineer at Bakat Industri Sdn Bhd, leading the OSRAM Pen32 expansion for the Facilities Monitoring and Control System project from April 2011 to January 2012. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Control Systems from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
