Mattie Hill has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as the Head Coach for the Junior Varsity Volleyball Team at Park Hill School District. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Research Associate at the University of Missouri's McQuinn Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. In 2016, they interned at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs in the Global Food and Agriculture Program. The following year, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Program Associate at PYXERA Global, focusing on Enterprise and Community Development. In 2018, they became a Child Hunger Program Specialist II at Second Harvest Heartland. Later, in 2019, they held dual roles at Global Volunteers as a Development Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. In 2020, they transitioned to Seeds Farm, where they served as the Harvest Crew Manager. After that, they joined At Last Gourmet Foods Inc as a Procurement Manager from November 2020 to December 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Project Manager in Research and Development at At Last Gourmet Foods Inc from December 2021 to March 2022. From April 2022 to June 2023, they worked at Presence as an Account Executive. Currently, they are progressing their career as a National Account Manager at Critical Mass Group, starting in June 2023.
Mattie Hill has a solid education background. Mattie completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Latin American Studies from Macalester College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
