John Olson

John Olson has a strong background in copywriting and has worked for various advertising agencies throughout their career. John currently works at Critical Mass as a Copy Lead since August 2022 and previously held the position of Senior Copywriter from March 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Critical Mass, John worked at Badger & Winters as a Senior Copywriter from January 2018 to March 2021. John also gained experience as a Copywriter at Critical Mass from March 2016 to January 2018 and at People Ideas & Culture / PI&C from June 2015 to March 2016. John began their career as a Junior Copywriter at BBDO from January 2014 to May 2015 and had an internship opportunity as a Copywriting Intern at Crispin Porter + Bogusky from October 2013 to December 2013.

John Olson completed their high school education at St. Xavier High School and received their High School Degree in 2007. John went on to attend DePaul University from 2007 to 2011 and earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a focus on Advertising. In 2012, they attended the Chicago Portfolio School for a brief period, where they studied Copywriting and received their Portfolio degree.
