Tim Dec

After deciding to change his major from Elementary Education to Geography in his junior year, Tim earned his BS degree from SUNY Cortland. One year later, he embarked upon his spatial career as the GIS Specialist for the Syracuse airport and has been immersed in the GIS industry ever since. Over the last 15 years, Tim has been actively engaged with utilities (large and small) by providing software sales and consulting services specifically within the mobile GIS and Work & Asset Management integration arena.

As a relationship specialist, Tim strives to redefine the role of today’s business development executive. By employing a unique consultative sales approach, he looks to combine client empathy with project specific requirements in order to deliver a fit-for-purpose solution.

When Tim and his wife Kim are not with their two children at horse shows or various athletic events; they (sometimes he) can be found golfing, playing lacrosse, fly fishing or taking in some live music…
