James Cowan

James Cowan has extensive experience in property management and hospitality, currently serving as a Senior Property Manager at Crockers Property Group since January 2023. Previously, James held several General Manager positions at various establishments, including Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park and Nugget Point Resort & Spa, demonstrating a strong leadership capability in hotel management. From 2019 to 2022, James managed the Bianco off Queen Apartment Hotel and contributed to the Toyota Hospitality Experience during the 36th America's Cup in 2021. Prior roles included General Manager at Hamurana Lodge Boutique Hotel and Event Specialist for various organizations, showcasing expertise in event management, tourism, and sales. James also gained experience as a Regional Manager with Displayways NZ Ltd and as a Sales & Marketing Consultant for Heritage Hotels. Educational background includes studies at Victoria University of Wellington from 1991 to 1992.
