Elizabeth Dickinson has extensive experience in the field of data science and research. Elizabeth currently works at Croda as a Lead Technical Data Scientist, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate at the University of York and Croda from August 2019 to July 2022. Elizabeth also worked at the University of York as a Post Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mathematics from July 2018 to August 2019, where they focused on developing statistical models for -omics technologies. Additionally, they were a Daphne Jackson Trust Research Fellow at the University of York from April 2016 to July 2018, where they worked on chemometric analysis of metabolomic and genomic data. Elizabeth Dickinson began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Leeds from October 2008 to May 2009.
Elizabeth Dickinson completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at The University of Manchester from 2000 to 2003. Elizabeth then pursued an Integrated MSc and PhD at the University of Leeds from 2004 to 2008, specializing in NMR studies towards a biomarker of preeclampsia. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Member Chartered Chemist of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the Royal Society of Chemistry in December 2021. Additionally, they received a CMI Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management from the Chartered Management Institute in 2022.
