Guilherme Freitas

Guilherme Freitas is a Research Scientist at Croda specializing in agricultural science with a focus on plant protection. Currently pursuing a master's in Agronomy at Unesp, Guilherme’s research examines the potential of probiotics for controlling plant diseases and promoting coffee seedling growth. Previous experience includes senior and mid-level roles at Agrivalle Brasil, where Guilherme conducted laboratory and field tests assessing microbial products for disease control, and contributed to the bioprospecting of microorganisms at the Universidade Federal do Paraná. Additional internships include work in biological pest control at Instituto Agronomico do Paraná and agricultural microbiology at UEL. Guilherme holds a degree in Agronomy from Universidade Federal do Paraná and has a technical background in agriculture from Colégio Agrícola Estadual Adroaldo Augusto Colombo.
