Heidi Ahrens

Heidi Ahrens is a business continuity advisor with extensive experience in emergency management, education, and community engagement. Currently employed at Metro Inc. since May 2022, Heidi also serves as an intern with the Canadian Red Cross, focusing on emergency management and resilience since November 2022. Previous roles include mobilization coordinator at the Canadian Red Cross, English language facilitator at Action Réfugiés Montréal, project manager for Talking Through Art, and founder of OutdoorBaby. Heidi's educational background includes a postgraduate degree in risk and disaster management from UQAM, certifications in suicide prevention and psychology, and a foundational degree in elementary education.
