Matthew Wade

Matthew Wade has over 6 years of software engineering experience. Matthew began their career in 2016 at Datapath Ltd, where they worked as a Software Engineer and was responsible for maintaining and extending the WDDM kernel and user mode display driver developed used by the GPU products. In 2021, they moved to Orderly, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer on the Inventory Management team developing cloud first enterprise level solutions for managing stock, processing financial reports, and using machine learning to develop tools to reduce waste in the hospitality and service sectors. Matthew's main responsibilities included improving performance and code quality of legacy systems through either refactors or rearchitecting of solutions culminating in leading an effort to rewrite the transaction processing pipeline to reduce processing time by 5x, and working directly with customers to design and develop solutions to extend and improve the product to meet their evolving needs. Currently, Matthew Wade is a Senior Software Engineer at Cronofy.

Matthew Wade attended the University of Nottingham from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a Masters of Science (MSci) in Computer Science.
