Gordon Hagen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gordon started their career as a Maintenance Department Manager at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park from 2006 to 2013. Gordon then worked as a Teaching Assistant and Sessional Lecturer at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) from 2013 to 2015, during which they also served as an Interim Laboratory Manager.
Following this, Gordon joined the University of Michigan as a Laboratory Manager in 2015. Gordon then moved to Emblem Cannabis, where they worked as a Research Scientist from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Cronos Group and held two roles: Research Scientist from 2017 to 2019 and later as the Director of Product Development from September 2019 onwards.
More recently, Gordon Hagen has taken up positions at the Midland Cultural Centre. Gordon served as a Board Member from June 2022 to February 2023 and currently holds the position of Chair of the Board of Directors starting from February 2023.
Gordon Hagen's education history includes attending the University of Michigan without completing a degree. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Afterward, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Applied Bioscience.
