Larry Jorgenson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 1994, they started as an R&D Manager/Design Engineer at DEL-AIR Systems Ltd., where they were involved in developing new products and reducing manufacturing costs. In 2003, they became an Engineer at Andritz, formerly known as Bird Machine, where they worked with industrial centrifuges for mining and processing industries. From 2006 to 2022, Larry served as a Technical Sales Representative at PAMI, where they specialized in agricultural machinery. In 2011, they became a JCI Senator 70673 at JCI Canada Senate, receiving a lifetime membership for their contribution to betterment. In 2012, Larry became a City Councillor for the City of Humboldt, Saskatchewan, serving on various committees. Since 2012, they have also been a Vice President at Arts Humboldt. Larry's most recent position is as a Production Manager at Croptimistic Technology Inc., where they are responsible for setting up and managing a production facility for the SWAT Technology Centre, assembling and maintaining hardware devices for Agronomists worldwide.
Larry Jorgenson attended Abbey School from 1982 to 1989 and obtained their High School degree during that time. Larry then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan from 1989 to 1994. In 1997, Larry obtained their Professional Engineer certification from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan. Larry later obtained additional Professional Engineer certifications from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscients of the Province of Manitoba, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscients of the Province of British Columbia, and Professional Engineers Ontario in 2010.
