Rahim Kassam is a business executive and software engineer who is currently the Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder at CrossCap. Rahim has over 20 years of experience in the industry.
Rahim Kassam started their career in 1996 as a Systems Analyst at Warner Lambert. Rahim then moved to University Health Network as a Software Engineer in 1998. In 1999, they left to join Montage Interactive as a Senior Software Consultant.
In 2001, Rahim Kassam co-founded Smartk Wireless, a company that provided wireless solutions for businesses. The company was acquired by Descartes Systems Group in 2002 and Rahim Kassam became a Senior Software Architect.
In their current role as Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder at CrossCap, Rahim Kassam is responsible for leading the sales and business development teams. Rahim has been instrumental in CrossCap’s success and has helped the company to become a leading provider of software solutions for the media and entertainment industry.
Rahim Kassam is a Professional Engineer licensed by the Professional Engineers of Ontario. Rahim holds a Masters of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters of Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of Toronto. Rahim also has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Rahim attended Marc Garneau Collegiate for high school.
