Rizwan Mallal

Rizwan Mallal is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Quantum Gears since January 2024 and at Forum Systems since February 2002, where Rizwan holds a patent in XML security (US Patent # 7,849,448). Following the acquisition of Forum Systems by Crosscheck Networks, Rizwan continues in the COO role. Prior to these positions, Rizwan was a founding investor at 24quan.com, served as Director of Engineering at Sonicwall (post-acquisition), and was Chief Architect at Phobos Corp, where Rizwan's work led to its acquisition by Sonicwall. Rizwan’s earlier career includes significant contributions as Senior Engineer at Raptor Systems and Software Engineer at Cambridge Technology Partners. Rizwan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Albright College.
