João Modesto

João Modesto is a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in consultancy and entrepreneurship. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Crossjoin Solutions since January 2010 and previously at InnoWave Technologies from January 2008 to December 2009, João has demonstrated leadership and innovation in the technology sector. Prior experience includes a significant role as Principal - Senior Consultant at CGI from 1996 to 2008, where João contributed to launching the NDC in Spain and developed key products for the telecom industry. Earlier in the career, João worked as an Analista Programador at D.G.I.T.A, where contributions included creating the first distributed public accounting application in Portugal. João holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, with specializations in Software Engineering, Grid Computing, and Artificial Intelligence.
