Denis Afanasev

Denis Afanasev has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Denis currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Crossover Markets Group, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of CPO, Head of SaluteB2B and TechPlatforms Division, and Managing Director at SberDevices. Denis also founded and served as a Board Member and Founder at CleverData, where they later became the CEO and Founder. Denis was also a Lead Expert and Head of projects at Association FinTech, contributing to the development of the digital profile project and the overall strategy for FinTech in Russia. Additionally, they founded NeuroHealth.Care and CDO Club, and worked as a Lecturer and author of the course "Digital Economy" at Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Denis has also worked as an Advisor at IVI and Head of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence competence center at LANIT. Denis began their career at Diasoft, where they worked as a Product Manager and later became the Director of the product development department.

Denis Afanasev has a diverse education history. Denis obtained their Master of Computer Science in Data Science (MCS-DS) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed an MBA from the University of Wales between 2012 and 2016, specializing in Business transformation using Big Data approaches.

Denis also holds a Master's degree in computer science (an Engineer) from Samara State Aerospace University, which they received from 1998 to 2004. Their field of study during this period was computerized information processing and control systems.
