Marcus King

Marcus King has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Marcus is currently the Director of Engineering at CrowdStrike since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Principal Software Engineer at CrowdStrike from September 2014 to August 2021. Before joining CrowdStrike, Marcus worked as the President of Crown Software LLC from October 2010 to January 2018. Marcus also gained valuable experience working at Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer from September 2011 to September 2014. Earlier in their career, Marcus held positions such as Senior Software Engineer at mycontent.com from December 2008 to January 2011, Applications Engineer at Humana from June 2007 to May 2009, and .NET Developer (co-op) at KiZAN Technologies from January 2007 to June 2007. Marcus began their professional journey as an IT Specialist (co-op) at the University of Louisville from August 2005 to January 2007, during which they developed technologies to support Homeland Security members for emergency response.
