John Timmons

John Timmons is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the battery manufacturing industry. Currently serving as Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer at Crown Battery since October 2017, Timmons previously held the role of Vice President, Technology at Microporous, LLC, where responsibilities included establishing a new product development department and leading research initiatives. Prior experience at Daramic LLC involved key leadership positions including Director of Technical Service and Director of DTC, focusing on product support and global initiatives, as well as managing vital commercial relationships. Early career roles included Product/Process Engineer at Power Battery Co. and Development Engineer at Yuasa Inc., following a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Virginia Military Institute.
