Matt Priest

Matt Priest is an experienced professional currently serving as Deputy Director of Data Insights at Crown Commercial Service since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading data services delivery and implementing a data strategy that has migrated systems to a new cloud platform. Matt is also the Director and Owner of Mercia Professional Services since 2008. Previously, Matt held several positions including Programme Performance Manager at Government Procurement Service, DCS Transformation Project Manager at Aviva plc, and Project Manager at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd. Matt's early career included roles such as Architecture & Print Review Manager at the Ministry of Justice UK and Project Manager at Norwich Union. Matt holds an MSc in Management from the University of Bath and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Nottingham.
