Jonny Boston

Jonny Boston is the Business Development Manager for Offshore Wind at the Crown Estate. Jonny has held this position since October of 2018. Prior to that, they were the Senior Development Manager for Offshore Wind at the Crown Estate from October 2014 to October 2018. Before that, they were the Development Manager for Offshore Wind at the Crown Estate from April 2010 to September 2014. Jonny Boston has also been the Head of Offshore Renewables at the South West Regional Development Agency from January 2010 to March 2010 and the Energy Manager / Offshore Renewable Energy Manager at the South West Regional Development Agency from April 2007 to December 2009. Prior to that, they were a Development Manager - Marine Renewables at RWE from January 2005 to December 2007 and an Offshore Wind Project Manager at RWE from January 2002 to December 2005. Before that, they were a Technical Consultant at BT from September 1999 to April 2002 and a Maintenance and Buildings Officer at Scott Dunn from November 1998 to May 1999.

Jonny Boston studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Jonny is a Chartered Manager and a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Jonny Boston works with Sion Roberts - Marine Consents Manager, Judith Everett - Executive Director of Purpose, Sustainability & Stakeholder, and Robert Allen - Chief Financial Officer. Jonny Boston reports to Dan Labbad, Chief Executive, Executive Board Member and Second Commissioner.
