Matthew Du has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Matthew currently holds the position of Chief Concierge at Crown Resorts since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Concierge at Crown Resorts from January 2020 to March 2023.

Matthew also has experience working with Les Clefs d'Or® International, where they served as Webmaster at Les Clefs d'Or Australia since January 2023. Matthew was also a Member of Les Clefs d'Or Australia from August 2022 to January 2023. In addition, they held the role of State Director of Victoria & Tasmania and Webmaster at Les Clefs d'Or Australia from November 2020 to July 2022, and prior to that, they were a Member of Les Clefs d'Or Australia from May 2019 to November 2020.

Before joining Crown Resorts and Les Clefs d'Or®, Matthew worked at Westin Hotels & Resorts, where they held various positions including Concierge from January 2017 to January 2020, Step-up Concierge from March 2016 to January 2017, Step-up Commissionaire from August 2015 to March 2016, Guest Service Agent from June 2014 to August 2015, and Service Express Agent from August 2013 to June 2014.

Their work experience also includes a managerial role at Royal Thai Restaurant from July 2008 to August 2013, and a position as Service Express Attendant at Westin Hotels & Resorts from June 2012 to January 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Houseman at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts from July 2011 to January 2012.

Matthew Du pursued their education at various institutions. From 2003 to 2007, they attended Prince Alfred College, where they completed their International Baccalaureate. Matthew then went on to University of South Australia from 2008 to 2010, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce & Business degree with a focus on Commercial Law. In 2011, Matthew enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu Australia-Adelaide, where they obtained a degree in International Hotel Management, specializing in Hospitality. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation in August 2018, and Open Water Diver from PADI in the same year.
