Karim Sumar

Karim Sumar is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in application support and management, currently serving as the Interim Oracle Cloud Support Manager at Croydon Council since June 2024. Previously, Karim held the position of Senior Applications Consultant at London Borough of Camden, where responsibilities included designing and configuring an Atlassian JIRA service management system, providing third-line support in Oracle Cloud Fusion, and improving internal processes through automation. Karim's extensive career began at Brent Council, spanning over three decades, with roles ranging from Application Support Lead to Junior Oracle Programmer, contributing significantly to various projects including the development of over 300 electronic forms for digital transformation. Karim holds a BSc.(Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Westminster.
