Joseph Pilarczyk

Joseph Pilarczyk is an experienced professional in applied science and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Staff Applied Scientist at Cruise since October 2024. Previously, Joseph held the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer - Autonomy at Stack AV from June 2023 to October 2024 and worked at Aurora from January 2021 to June 2023 as a Staff Software Engineer - Autonomy and Senior Autonomy Engineer - Perception. From 2016 to January 2021, Joseph was a Senior Autonomy Engineer - Perception at Uber and spent nearly a decade at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as a Flight Controls Engineer from 2007 to 2016. Joseph's career began at Boeing, where Joseph worked as an Engineer/Scientist from 2004 to 2007. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Southern California.
