Wei Luo

Wei Luo is an experienced executive in strategy, product management, and operations, currently serving as the VP of Strategy, Product Management and Operations at Cruise since September 2021, overseeing multiple departments and crucial company milestones. Prior roles include VP of Products at Nvidia and COO & Head of Product at DeepMap Inc., a leading provider of HD mapping for the self-driving industry. Wei has a strong background in product management from working at Machine Zone and various roles at Google where significant contributions to machine learning projects and Google Maps were made. Wei's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in GIS and Remote Sensing from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Urban and Environmental Planning and Economics from Peking University.
