Magnus Lageson

Magnus Lageson has extensive work experience in the payments industry. Magnus is currently the CPO at Crunchfish AB since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Lageland Consulting as a Senior Business Consultant & Advisor Payments from 2018 to the present. Magnus was also a Member of EPC multi-stakeholder group for MSCT Technical Interoperability at the European Payments Council (EPC) from 2019 to 2021. Magnus has held various roles at Swish (Getswish AB) as the Lead Product Owner Swish from 2016 to 2021 and at Tieto as a Lead Business Consultant & Advisor Payments and a Senior Business Consultant & Advisor from 2014 to 2018. Magnus served as the Director of Business Development & IT Sweden at Edenred in 2013 and as a Senior Business Development Manager and Head of Competence Center CM Sales Sweden at Nordea from 2008 to 2013. Magnus also has experience at Svenska E-fakturabolaget AB and Bankgirocentralen BGC AB, where they held leadership positions. Magnus started their career as a Business Development Manager at Columbitech AB in 2001. Throughout their career, Magnus has focused on payments, fintech, strategy, and consultant roles, demonstrating their expertise in the field.

Magnus Lageson completed their education chronologically as follows:

- From 1989 to 1993, they studied at Ullviskolan and obtained "Studenten" degree in the field of Teknik.

- Starting in 1994 and lasting until 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Luleå University of Technology.

- Finally, from 2002 to 2004, Magnus attended Stockholm School of Economics, where they obtained an MBA degree specializing in Business Development & IT.
