Mikael Andreen

Mikael Andreen is a Senior Research Engineer at Crunchfish AB, specializing in deep learning for hand tracking, 3D pose estimation, and object detection since May 2022. Previously, Mikael served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Axis Communications, focusing on computer vision for embedded platforms from June 2017 to May 2022. Earlier roles include Data Scientist at Lytics, Software Developer at BlackBerry, R&D Engineer at System Verification, and various development roles at ST-Ericsson and Sony Ericsson, where expertise in WCDMA and Android application programming was enhanced. Mikael began the professional journey as a Master Thesis Student at Ericsson Research after graduating with a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Lund University in 2008.
