Matt O'Hara has a diverse work experience in the field of production operations and authoring. Matt started their career in 2000 as a Pro Tools Instructor at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. In 2002, they joined Technicolor as a Blu-ray and DVD Author, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Crunchyroll as a Blu-ray and DVD Author, developing templates and processes for production. Matt then progressed to roles such as Manager of Production Systems Engineering and Manager of DVD, Blu-ray, and Video Production at Crunchyroll, where they managed various aspects of production operations, such as post-production workflow, data archiving, and film restoration. In 2018, they assumed the position of Senior Manager of Production Operations at Crunchyroll.
Matt O'Hara has an education history that includes several institutions and fields of study. From 2000 to 2002, they attended The Art Institutes and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Video Production. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1998, they attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and obtained a Diploma in Audio Engineering. Matt'seducational journey began in 1996 at the College of DuPage, where they studied Communications Arts & Sciences, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
In addition to their formal education, Matt O'Hara has also obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022.
