Maryanne Johnson

Maryanne Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. In their most recent role at Crux, they serve as the Senior Director of People, starting in 2022. Prior to that, Maryanne worked at Deep Labs as a Senior Director of People, where they built and managed the HR function for a VC-backed, Series A start-up. Maryanne also worked at Appriss as a Senior Director of People Team, leading an international team and aligning talent planning with strategic business priorities. Before that, Maryanne held the position of HR Business Partner at CareerBuilder, where they partnered with SaaS sales, engineering, and operations leaders. Maryanne also worked at SeaSpine as an HR Business Partner, developing people programs and HR policies. Maryanne began their career at Human Options, Inc. as an HR Manager, building and implementing HR programs. Prior to that, they supported a med device manufacturing client group as an HR Business Partner (Contract) at Edwards Lifesciences. Maryanne also has experience as a Stay-at-Home Parent and as a Human Resources Manager at the City of Irvine.

Maryanne Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and International Relations from UCLA. In 2013, they completed HR Certification coursework at Brandman University. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued Human Resources and Agile Project Management coursework at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Maryanne has further certifications including Hogan Assessment Certification, OKR Expert, KF360 Certification, KF Leadership Architect Certification, SHRM-SCP, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification.
