Ameer Omar

Ameer Omar has a diverse background with experience in various industries.

Ameer currently works as the Director of Investor Relations at Event Horizon Capital, where they offer administrative assistance for fundraising efforts, fosters relationships with potential investors, and coordinates investor meetings.

Prior to this role, Ameer was the Head of Business Development at both CryptoEQ and Blockswap Labs. At CryptoEQ, they successfully directed growth and client engagement efforts, implemented pipeline management tools, and traveled regularly for business purposes. At Blockswap Labs, they implemented a CRM system and developed customer support processes to enhance the customer experience.

Before transitioning to the finance and technology sectors, Ameer worked in the nonprofit sector for several years. Ameer served as the Director of Partnerships & Development for a confidential nonprofit organization, overseeing operations for multiple teams and leading strategic planning for humanitarian aid efforts. Ameer also worked as a Business Development Manager for another nonprofit organization, managing logistics and communication for humanitarian trips.

Additionally, Ameer gained experience in quality process analysis and documentation at Intermarine and customer service and logistics at The Container Store. Ameer began their career as an Accounts Payable professional at Excell Cleaning, where they supported procurement processes and handled vendor invoices.

Ameer Omar received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of Houston in 2012.
