Emily Messenger is the current Chief of Staff at CryptoEQ. Prior to that, they were a Program Manager at the Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Rice University from April 2018 to June 2020. Before that, they were the Military Education Coordinator at the University of Maryland Global Campus from January 2017 to April 2018.
Before their work in higher education, Emily was a consultant from January 2013 to January 2017. During that time, they also served as an Administrative Assistant at The Finger Companies from July 2010 to July 2011, where they assisted with logistics for the 2010 Conference, chaired the Emily'storical Security Council for the 2009 Conference, and served as the Director of the Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS for the 2008 Conference. Emily also held the position of Corporate Programs Officer at the World Affairs Council of Houston from June 2011 to January 2013.
Emily began their professional career as an Assistant Property Manager at Cotter and Sons from May 2009 to July 2010. Emily has also been involved with Model UN through the United Nations Association, where they served as Secretariat from February 2006 to May 2010.
Emily Messenger obtained their BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Emily'story from The University of Texas at Austin. Emily then went on to receive certification from LinkedIn in Delivery Tips for Speaking in Public, Editing Mastery: How to Edit Writing to Perfection, and Leadership Strategies for Women.
