Nethma Hewavitharana

Nethma Hewavitharana is a Junior Cyber Security Analyst at CryptoGen, responsible for monitoring and responding to security events on networks and endpoints using various security technologies. As a Co-Founder of The Island Taprobane, Nethma oversees the cultivation of agricultural land, focusing on tea, cinnamon, and rubber. Previous experience includes serving as a Network Assistant at the National Institute of Business Management, where responsibilities included providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT inventory. Nethma is currently pursuing a BSc in Cybersecurity and Network Engineering at Cardiff Metropolitan University and holds a diploma in computer hardware and network from the Vocational Training Center-Dehiwala. Additional educational pursuits include courses at Cisco Networking Academy and prior studies at ICBT Campus and Thelijjawila Central College.
