Shayanthan Karunaharan

Shayanthan Karunaharan has extensive experience in cyber security and information systems, currently serving as Vice President of Cyber Security Operations at CryptoGen since February 2016. Previous roles at CryptoGen include Manager and Senior Engineer in Information Security, where responsibilities involved pre-sales engineering for diverse industries and participation in the Management Steering Committee to shape organizational growth strategies. Earlier positions included Engineer and Support Engineer roles focused on installation and configuration of security systems for enterprise clients. Prior to CryptoGen, Shayanthan worked as a System Administrator at Global Freight Net Pvt Ltd and interned in Datacenter Operations at the Colombo Stock Exchange, gaining valuable compliance and documentation skills. Shayanthan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems & Networking from Curtin University.
