Per Thomsen

Per Thomsen has a wide range of experience in engineering and management roles. Per is currently the VP of Engineering at CryptoSlam Inc, where they oversee a distributed engineering team and focuses on improving engineering processes and technical debt. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Engineering at Apporto, managing a virtual and diverse team and exploring future product directions. Per also served as the VP of Engineering at Edmodo, overseeing a workforce of over 70 engineers and supporting a large learning network. Before these roles, Per worked as an independent consultant and held engineering positions at BumeBox, Moxsie Inc., Belomi Inc., Topica Inc., Netscape Communications Corp., and Oracle Corporation. Throughout their career, Per has demonstrated expertise in architecture, development, and management.

Per Thomsen attended Copenhagen Business School from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science known as Datamatiker. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Cyber security Awareness Training from ESET North America in January 2021.
