Brian G. Jones

Brian G. Jones has over 35 years of experience in the creative industry. Brian G. began their career in 1979 as a Visual Information Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution, where they developed and coordinated exhibit design displays, designed traveling exhibits and exhibition posters, and negotiated with outside vendors. In 1980, they became the co-owner and proprietor of the Bairstow Gallery House. In 1984, they joined Corning Incorporated as Manager of Tradeshows, Events, and Meetings, where they were responsible for project management and equipment development and implementation. In 1991, they began their role as Adjunct Professor at Alfred University. In 2002, they joined Crystal McKenzie, Inc. as Acting President, Chief Operating Officer, and Creative Director where they were responsible for day-to-day operations and leading the creative department. In 2011, they began their role as Adjunct Assistant Professor at The City University of New York, where they taught Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in Communications Design.

Brian G. Jones received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 1979, majoring in Design. Brian G. also attended the Corcoran School of Art in 1977, studying Ceramic Arts and Ceramics.
