Alex Louwagie

Alex Louwagie is a Sales Agronomist at Crystal Valley since May 2023, where responsibilities include advising and assisting growers, cold calling prospective customers, and learning agronomy operations related to chemicals and seeds. Previously, Alex gained experience as a Meat Processor at South Dakota State University Meat Lab from February 2020 to May 2023, handling wholesale meat cuts, processing various products, and ensuring compliance with inspection guidelines. An internship with LG Seeds in summer 2022 involved supporting district sales managers and maintaining planting plots, while a Crop Scouting Internship at Ag Partners in summer 2021 focused on selling micronutrients and conducting agronomy assessments. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Education from South Dakota State University, completed in May 2023, and a High School Diploma from Redwood Valley Senior High School.
