Mirel Sehic

Mirel Sehic currently serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Honeywell Building Solutions, with a career at Honeywell spanning over a decade in various leadership roles focused on cyber security and digital operations. In addition to this role, Mirel is actively involved as an advisor for Merlin Ventures and Glilot Capital Partners and holds board member positions at Washington University in St. Louis and the Global Center for Cybersecurity @ Cortex. With a strong emphasis on cyber security education, Mirel contributes as an adjunct professor at the McKelvey School of Engineering and has been part of multiple organizations dedicated to advancing cyber resilience and workforce development in the field. Mirel’s academic background includes dual degrees in Mechatronics and Mathematical Modelling from Deakin University.
