Tom Mulcahey, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tom began their career as an Intern at Barnes Aerospace, where they gained knowledge in precision manufacturing of large aerospace components. Following this, they worked as an Engineer at Alstom Power, specializing in the design and manufacturing of heavy equipment for coal-fired power plants. In 2012, they served as a Graduate Intern at Iris Technology, focusing on thermal modeling and testing of alternative energy systems for military applications.
