Ashley Lawson

Ashley Lawson is an experienced professional in marine science and project management, currently serving as the Infrastructure Programs Director at CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. since June 2012. In this leadership role, Ashley oversees project management, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring successful project implementation. Previously, Ashley transitioned from a Project Scientist role in the Science Division, having initially worked in the Operations Division. Earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Field Scientist and Safety Officer during significant environmental response projects related to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Ashley began professional development with an internship at the North Carolina Underwater Archaeology Branch, focusing on marine artifact cataloging. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
