Nicholas Newcomb

Nicholas Newcomb is a seasoned communications specialist with extensive experience in media and journalism. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist for CSEA Local 1000 since August 2019, Nicholas manages regional communications for 45,000 association members across Central New York. Prior roles include Web Producer at NewsChannel 9 WSYR, where Nicholas wrote breaking news stories, and Sports Editor/Reporter at The Ithaca Times, covering local sports and government topics. Previous experience also includes a position as Sports Writer for the Democrat and Chronicle and serving as Sports Editor and Copy Editor for The Stylus during academic tenure at SUNY Brockport.
