Morgan Monroe

Morgan Monroe is a Postdoctoral Scientist specializing in Sustainable Electronics at CSEM, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Morgan completed a PhD at EPFL, focusing on solution processed printed biodegradable electronics, particularly biodegradable piezoelectric microsystems. Prior roles include Associate R&D Engineer at Modern Electron and Battery Test Engineering Intern at General Motors. Morgan's early experience includes a Process Engineering Summer Internship at Imprint Energy, contributing to the enhancement of flexible printed batteries, and a Research Intern position at the Center for Energy Efficient Electronics Science, engaging in the development of nanomechanical switches. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Science in Materials Engineering from EPFL and advanced degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
