Mark Hagenaars

Mark Hagenaars is an experienced educator and historian with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a board member at Waterliniemuseum Fort bij Vechten since September 2023, Mark has been a dedicated faculty member at CSG De Goudse Waarden since January 1999, holding roles as history group chair, history teacher, and dean. Additionally, Mark actively contributes to Struikelstenen De Bilt as a volunteer designing educational materials on World War II and the persecution of Jews in the area. As a YouTube educator under Geschiedenis in beweging, Mark produces instructional videos covering various historical topics. Engagement as a member of the VGN-Kleio Didactic Committee and as a co-author for the MeMo history curriculum further underscores Mark's commitment to history education. With earlier teaching experiences at CSG 'Het Groene Hart Lyceum' and Stanislascollege, Mark holds a Master's degree in Education and a Master's in History from Leiden University.
