Augusto Formento

Augusto Formento has been working in the legal field since 2008. Augusto began their career at Ferrere Abogados, where they held the roles of Associate and Corporate Trainee. In 2010, they took a position at IBM as Country Counsel - Contracts and Negotiation Specialist in Uruguay. From 2012 to 2016, they served as Legal and Contract Manager - Abeinsa EPC Mexico at Abengoa. Augusto then moved to TCIM, where they worked as Operations Services Manager. In 2017, they joined Ventus Ingeniería as Agent - MX Ventus Energía. Since 2018, they have been employed at CSI Ingenieros and CIEMSA, where they hold the roles of General Counsel and General Counsel and Contract Manager - Compliance Officer, respectively.

Augusto Formento has a comprehensive educational history. In 2005, they obtained a Doctor in Law from the Universidad de Montevideo. Augusto then completed a Postgrado en Derecho Penal Económico from the same university in 2010. In 2014, they earned a Diplomate in International Commercial Arbitration from ICC Mexico - Escuela Libre de Derecho. From 2016 to 2018, they attended IPADE Business School and obtained an MBA (MEDEX). In 2018, they completed an Executive Program in Innovation from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the CICA - Curso Internacional de Continuidad y Actualización from IPADE Business School.
