Michelle Schorer is a Principal Scientist and Team Lead at CSL Behring, specializing in Plasma Product Development and Cellular Analytics for large biomolecules and biologics. Since June 2021, Michelle has led the development of functional cell-based assays and collaborated across various departments. Previous roles include Senior Scientist at CSL Behring, Discovery Postdoc at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, and Scientific Expert at CSL Behring. Michelle completed a PhD in Immunology at the University of Zurich, focusing on the co-inhibitory receptor TIGIT during viral infections, and has held positions in quality control and research at InnoMedica Holding AG and the Institut für Virologie und Immunologie. Michelle's educational background includes a Master's degree in Molecular Life Science and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Bern.
