Assistant Vice President - Growth & Impact at CSRBOX

Lakshana Asthana has a diverse range of work experience in the social impact sector. Lakshana is currently working at CSRBOX, where they have held multiple roles. As an Assistant Vice President - Growth & Impact, they are responsible for building new collaborations, intensifying services, and scaling-up partnerships. Lakshana also plays a key role in program management, strategization, content development, implementation, and operations. In their previous role as Senior Manager - Growth & Impact, they supported the team in ideation and road map building for new social impact verticals. Before joining CSRBOX, Lakshana worked at EdelGive Foundation as a Manager - Strategic Partnerships, where they focused on business development and donor engagement. Lakshana also contributed to the management of large-scale collaboratives in India. Additionally, they have experience as a Student Social Worker at TANDA, where they worked on the empowerment of denotified tribes, and at Inclusive Community Based Rehabilitation, where they focused on the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. Lakshana began their career as a Fellow at NSS-CCF The Blue Ribbon Movement, where they participated in a leadership development program empowering youth to be active citizens.

Lakshana Asthana completed their education in a sequential manner. Lakshana first attended La Martiniere Girls' College for their 12th Standard education, focusing on the field of Science. Afterward, they studied at the Institute of Forensic Science in Mumbai, where they obtained a B.Sc. degree in Forensic Science from 2014 to 2017. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Criminology and Justice at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences from 2017 to 2019. Furthermore, in 2022, Lakshana attended the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam to complete an Executive Development Program in Digital and Social Media Marketing, concentrating on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
