Cierra LeBlanc, MPH, is an Applied Epidemiology Fellow at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, focusing on infectious disease surveillance and outbreak investigation, particularly in Hepatitis A, Group A Strep, and Hepatitis C mortality analysis. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Oregon Health & Science University, where involvement in SARS-CoV-2 sequencing and Autism Spectrum Disorder genetic modeling occurred. Cierra has also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and worked in various customer service and tutoring positions, while holding leadership roles in music ensembles. Cierra holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Washington.
