German Hernandez

German Hernandez has over 20 years of diverse work experience in business development, sales management, and engineering roles. German is currently the Director of Business Development Andean and Central America at CTC Global. Previously, they worked as a Territory Manager for Hubbell Power Systems, responsible for the business development and sales management in the Central America and Andean region. German also held the position of Sales Manager Colombia at S&C Electric Company, where they established the company's market presence in Colombia. Prior to that, they served as the Energy Business Unit Manager at Sytecsa, where they developed the new Energy Business Unit and managed commercial responsibilities. German has also worked at Siemens Energy as an Account Manager and at HMV Ingenieros Ltda. as a Senior Design Engineer. German started their career as an Electronics Maintenance Engineer at Cementos Argos S.A.

German Hernandez has a diverse education history. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Unversidad de Antioquia. Following this, they pursued further studies and completed a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 2000 and 2001. In 2014, German enrolled at Florida International University and obtained a Professional Certificate in International Marketing Management. Additionally, they acquired certifications such as Certified International Trade Marketing Specialist (CITMS) from Florida International University and certifications in Account Management and Project Practitioner According to PMBOK from Siemens.
