Bruce Ortquist

Bruce Ortquist is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both application development and research roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at CTI since April 2024, Bruce has previously contributed to Asymmetric Technologies, LLC, where impactful development spanned the product portfolio from March 2019 to March 2024. As the Principal at Ortquist Consulting from April 2000 to March 2019, a significant focus was placed on client software teams utilizing languages such as C++, Python, C#, and Java, maintaining a notable average of 90% billable time on projects. Earlier career roles included Principal Research Scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute and Physicist II at Videojet Systems International. Bruce holds an MS in Physics from the University of Chicago and a BS in Physics from Miami University.
