Julia Laystrom-Woodard

Julia Laystrom-Woodard is an experienced aerospace professional serving as the Director of Operations and Senior Engineer at CU Aerospace since January 2000. In addition, Julia holds the position of Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, teaching AE 140 CAD for the Department of Aerospace Engineering since January 2017. Julia's academic background includes a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both obtained from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior roles include serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois from 2002 to 2004 and completing a summer internship at Orbital Sciences Corporation in 1999.
