Barry Nicholson has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies in 1985. Barry later became a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, where they led multiple technical projects and acted as a subject matter expert. In 1998, Nicholson founded RemoteLink, Inc. and served as the Chief Technical Officer/CISO/Founder. Barry provided technical expertise and developed products for commercial and non-commercial entities. Nicholson then joined Walmart in 2012 as the Director of Software Development & Product Management, where they transformed ITSM processes and updated various knowledge systems. Currently, they are the Vice President of Application & Data Development at Co-op Solutions, where they focus on rebuilding and modernizing core business applications and increasing software deployments and value delivery.
Barry Nicholson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
